We love this tropical hardwood so much because it has a built in natural water repellent and is therefore virtually immune to rotting, fungi and harsh chemicals. Also it is one of few hardwoods that can withstand the heat of the desert! Teak wood only grows in three places, one of which is beautiful Indonesia!
