Meet the Makers: Batik
“Courage” was the response given when we asked what it took for Wayun to relocate his family from Central Java to Bali in 1990 in search of a better life. This move drove him to pursue his dream of producing batik fabric in the traditional method. As time progressed, so did his business but his love for natural dyes stayed the same.
